Cappadocia Couple Photos

Monika and Michael are a newlywed couple of Philippine and Russian origin who currently reside in Antalya, Turkey. They contacted me to organize their wedding photo shoot in Cappadocia. Prior to the shoot, I provided them with all the options and answered their queries. We then finalized the date and made reservations. You can read more about their story in the article “Cappadocia Couple Photos” below the photos.

Before the shoot we met in person at the Holiday Cave Hotel where we had a mutual program available. The program lasted for approximately 8 hours.

Monks Valley

We began our shoot at one of the best spots to watch hot air balloons just before sunrise. Then we chose our shooting location and waited for the balloons to take off. We captured shots here until sunrise. We then moved to Pasabaglari, a location where hot air baloons are not often captured on camera. Pasabaglari, previously known as “Monks Valley” is home to several multi body fairy chimneys that were once carved into living spaces and chapels.

While en route to our next stop, Pigeon Valley we took a brief shot at the Cave Church. We then added traditional evil eye beads and pigeons to our background. The sun came out for the first time as we changed locations and we decided to revisit Pasabaglari to capture shots in daylight and explore more of the valley!

Overall it was a productive and enjoyable day of shooting. I wish Monika and Michael eternal hapiness in their marriage.
