Koc Museum Wedding Photography Packages

Koc Museum holds a special place with its historical buildings dating back to the early 1700s, making it a true monument of the past. The Lengerhane, constructed during the reign of Ahmet 3, stands proudly within the Golden Horn. A site once dedicated to the production of Ottoman ship anchors and chains. In 1994, the Koç Foundation acquired these buildings to showcase the remarkable Rahmi Koc collections. As the museum expanded, they also acquired the 150 year old Hasköy Shipyard, transforming it into a vast industrial history museum, educational center and activity hub spanning 27000 square meters. Capturing the Historical Charm

Halat by Divan located on the museum’s beachside, offers a stunning setting with a picturesque view of the historical peninsula and the sea, truly capturing the essence of the venue. It is, without a doubt, my favorite wedding venue in Istanbul. Here couples have the choice between two event spaces. The expansive openair section of the museum, adorned with handcrafted boats or the intimate restaurant area on the beach. I am fortunate to have photographed weddings at this magnificent location for a long time. Moreover I am frequently recommended by Halat by Divan to my couples. The Grand Preparation Room

Ezgi and Barkin’s wedding took place in the spacious boat filled area. For the preparation, we utilized the vast room situated on the shipyard’s beachside. In fact this area is large enough to host a small scale wedding on its own. Every corner of the room is adorned with captivating museum artifacts creating a unique backdrop. We dedicated ample time to Ezgi’s makeup and hair styling, followed by capturing Barkin’s preparations in the adjacent room. The first meeting of the couple took place in the awning area where the wedding ceremony would later unfold.

We took advantage of the museum’s remarkable setings for the couple’s photoshoot which was truly enjoyable. Given the scorching weather, we sought refuge in airconditioned indoor areas whenever possible. The family photoshoot took place in the charming porch area.

As the sun began to set, we bore witness to an emotional wedding ceremony on the beach, followed by a joyous evening of celebration. The exceptional team at Halat by Divan, responsible for organizing the wedding, executed their duties flawlessly, as always. I extend my heartfelt wishes for everlasting happines to dear Ezgi and Barkin.
