Kristina and Jason, a couple from the United States chose the picturesque landscapes of Cappadocia for their pre-wedding outdoor photo shoot. They first reached out to me through my website’s contact form. After a few emails and an online meeting we were all set for a two-day outdoor photo shoot with the addition of a short film by Story Films.

We started by visiting a rental dress shop where Kristina picked three stunning dresses in blue, white and red. The blue and red long tailed dresses were perfect for photography and added a fun element to the shoot. My friends who provided hair and makeup services got Kristina ready at the couple’s rooms at the Ariana Sustainable Luxury Lodge Hotel.
Pasabaglari
The first shoot was at the top of Paşabağları where Kristina wore her blue dress and Jason donned a dark navy blue suit. Paşabağları is a famous tourist destination in Cappadocia, Turkey known for its unique fairy chimneys and cave dwellings. It is a popular location for outdoor photo shoots due to its natural beauty and harsh light which creates contrast in photos. Paşabağları is also ideal for drone shooting allowing for aerial footage to be captured. It is a significant site for its historical and cultural value being home to several ancient monasteries and chapels carved into the rock formations. Overall Paşabağları is a must-visit destination for nature and history enthusiasts and provides a breathtaking backdrop for outdoor photo shoots.
Our next stop was Kiliclar Valley where we shot for an hour with a classic car we rented. The sunset at the legendary Kızılçukur panorama point was breathtaking.
Cappadocia Rental Colorful Dress Photos in the Second Day
Due to bad weather, the next day’s balloon flights were canceled. So we started later and had breakfast at the hotel. We continued with the wedding gowns and groom’s suits and shot at a carpet store with the drone, capturing some truly extraordinary images.
Our final shoot was one of my favorites. Kristina wore the red flying dress and Jason a blue shirt. We shot in one of my favorite church caves and then in the open air of the valley until the afternoon.
