Portrait Session in Cappadocia

Mylene gave her daughter a photo shoot in Cappadocia as a gift for here 16th birthday. They came here from Miami for both vacation and the photo shoot. It was really great for me to witness the adventurous spirit and communication of the two and to accompany them on this day.

Mylene and Isabella are originally Panamanian and have been living in America for a long time. They were staying in one of the best hotels in Cappadocia; Mithra Cave Hotel. Although we met in the morning, in the middle of the summer, the news came that the balloon flights were canceled, due to excessive wind. Obviously, this did not affect our energy and the shooting quality at all. I always say that there is more to see in Cappadocia than just balloons, I think it has the best funds in the world. Especially with such sweet people good pictures always appear.

Not Just Photography

After shooting in Güvercinlik Valley, Paşabagları and Uchisar, we decided to go for shopping for the reason that the weather was too hot. Dear Mylene and Isabella spent a lot of time especially in the shops of Pasabag. One of the most enjoyable moments of the day was our visit to the pottery and ceramic making workshop in Avanos where they were making their own clay pots in the rotating mud. In the evening we went to many shooting points. We watched the sunset at the magnificent valley overlooking the Red Valley. It was an unforgettable day for all of us.

We will meet with Mylene and Isabella and other members of the family that I haven’t met yet, hopefully as soon as possible, this time in Miami. I am very happy to know you. Sincerely.
