Cappadocia Wedding Portraits

Kat and Jonny are a couple from Asian origin from London, England who decided to come to Turkey for pre wedding photo shooting. We talked a lot about Cappadocia before they come. In the morning when the balloons were in the air we decided to start the shooting.

Things To Do in Cappadocia

When it comes to Cappadocia, the first thing that many people think is hot air balloons. It is really one of the most beautiful and exciting experiences on earth to watch and to have a hot air balloon ride. However, it would not be fair to say that Cappadocia is just a city of hot air balloons. There are many activities in addition to the magnificent geography of this place and the journeys you can make in this thousands of years old city.

First of all, there are two important tours here, the red and green tour which are being organized every day. The red tour is the best way to discover Cappadocia, a half-day Cappadocia summary. The green tour is a more comprehensive full-day tour, covering a wide area extending to the Ihlara valley. It is useful to take a look at the details of these tours. The prices are also very reasonable. In the evenings, Turkish nights are organized in many restaurants. These may also be the choice of those looking for alternative entertainment for the night.

Horse Ride

Attending a horse tour “in the land of beautiful horses” is a great way to have a great trip on rough terrain. You do not have to have any experience before to participate in this horse riding activity. With a short exercise you learn how to stay and control the horse. Quad safari (ATV) tour is also a pleasant way to explore the region, it is great fun. Also, I think walking in the valley alone or with a group is the most enjoyable activity. I can say that this is what I do most in the region. As far as I can see from the outside, Jeep safari tour is also a fun way that I haven’t tried yet. Another tour is the viticulture tour where you can taste regional wines.

By the way, of course, this is a paradise for photographers too. Cappadocia has turned into a photo shoot and training center for photographers from all branches of the world. Our shootings, which started with balloons in the morning with Kat and Jonny, was amazing. First we started shooting the groom and the bride wearing her wedding dress. Then they wore more casual and comfortable clothes after breakfast and break. It was both hot and there were wonderful clouds in the sky in the afternoon.

Kate and Jonny have done a really great job. Hope to see you again soon, endless happiness already!
