Rana and Amir, a delightful couple of Iranian origin residing in San Francisco, California chose to celebrate their union in the picturesque setting of Marmaris, Turunc. Their decision to have their wedding in Turkey was driven by several compelling factors. Firstly, Turkey’s unique blend of natural and historical beauty captured their hearts. Secondly, they appreciated the opportunity to receive top-notch service at global standards without breaking the bank. Thirdly, the accessibility of Istanbul from around the world made it a convenient choice. Lastly, the ease of travel to Turkey without a visa, particularly for Iranian guests added to the appeal. With these considerations in mind, Rana and Amir decided to exchange vows in Marmaris, Turunc surrounded by 50 adults and 5 little guests. Gorgeous View of Dionysos Village Hotel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Upon reaching out to me, the couple had already chosen their wedding venue; the enchanting Marmaris Turunc Dionysos Village Hotel<\/a>. When I inquired about how they discovered this hidden gem, their response was surprising. Despite never having visited the area their online research led them to this hotel and they were captivated by what they found. Their ultimate decision to host their wedding at Dionysos Village Hotel was solidified by the hotel’s attentive and caring approach. It wasn’t until they arrived for the wedding that they witnesed the beauty of both the hotel and its surroundings. To their delight, the reality exceeded their expectations and the images they had seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situated on the slopes of Kumlubuk Bay in the Turunc neighborhood of Marmaris, Dionysos Village Hotel offers a breathtaking panorama of the sea, canyon and mountains. The architecture seamlessly integrates with nature, enhancing the overall experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amos Ancient City<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The day of the wedding began with preparations in Rana’s room filled with both joyous and emotional moments from her family. Meanwhile, Amir was geting ready in another part of the suite. The photo shoot took us to Amos Ancient City, a short distance from the hotel with its well preserved Roman amphi theater, walls, towers, mausoleums and temple ruins. The spectacular view of the Aegean Sea, islands and Marmaris National Park made this location extraordinary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the noon heat, Rana and Amir climbed Asarc\u0131k Hill with great dedication. Resulting in extraordinary photographs both on the hill and in the ancient theater. The outdoor shoot continued at the hotel, featuring the chess track, infinity pool and external stairs leading to the rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sofreh Aghd<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Around 4 o’clock in the afternoon, the wedding venue was set up in front of the “sofreh aghd.” The backdrop behind the wedding altar showcased mountains towering 860 meters above the sea, with the magnificent Aegean blue and canyon view to the left. In this enchanting atmosphere, a ceremony unfolded, blending Iranian and Western motifs. At 5:30 pm, the couple entered the reception area, performing a moving first dance. Following family shots at the dinner table, a drone captured a mega group shot, including all the guests. The sunset dinner continued with heartfelt speches and toasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The night’s highlights included dancing and entertaining wedding games with questions about the couple eliciting amusing reactions from the guests. After the cake cutting, the celebration continued until midnight. Meeting Rana, Amir and all the guests was a joy and special commendations go to the hotel and the entire team for orchestrating this wonderful event. I extend my heartfelt wishes for endless hapiness to the newlyweds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
