Merve and Alper are a couple living in the town of Bayreuth in Bavaria, Germany. They met at school when Merve came to Germany from Bursa for education. Because Alper’s family was originally from Nevsehir, they found it appropriate to marry in Cappadocia. \nThis\ntime Mike, a wedding photographer from Berlin, joined me as a second\nphotographer for the wedding\nshooting.\nMike is really a great person and a good friend. After two days of\nCappadocia, we went to Izmir and spent a few days together. In the\nmeantime, Mike took great family photos of us, thank you Mike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wedding Day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\nOn\nthe morning of the wedding, we went to the hairdresser where we the\npreparation in Nevsehir\nwould start. After a while Mike left me and went to the barber with\nthe groom for Alper’s hair\ncut.\nWhen the preparatory photos\nfinished, we had a photo session in Cappadocia valley with our\nmagnificent red antique convertible car. It was a great weather for\nphoto shoot, and\nsunny\nand cloudy at the same time. This is an ideal situation for\nphotography. Although\nit was the wedding day, the photo shooting lasted for more than two\nhours, \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the photo session, we went to Kaya Hotel<\/a> in the town of Uchisar where the wedding would take place. This hotel obviously impressed me, with its size and history. It was built between 1964 and 1968 over a period of 4 years. It is the world’s first rock-carved cave hotel and there were a lot of handcrafted items on the building. The hotel served as the French Med Club for years until 2006. Later on, it became the property of Dorak Holding, was restored and continued to serve as Kaya Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Center of The Wedding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\nUntil\nrecently, Cappadocia was a place that was generally used for photo\nshooting but was not preferred for weddings. In recent years, with\nthe introduction of large hotels and boutique hotels organizing\nweddings on their own place in the valley, it has started to attract\nthe attention of many couples from all over the world. This is a very\npleasing development because the atmosphere here is unprecedented. It\nis one of the places that will become an alternative wedding center\nin the world with its logistics and service quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After\nthe wedding reception\nat the poolside, we had the chance to sleep at a reasonable time.\nWith the sunrise at 5 am, the next morning, we had the opportunity to\ntake a couple\nshoot\nfor 2 hours while the balloons were in the air. Our couple and Mike\nwere lucky to see the balloons in the air this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
