The stories of Pinar and Serif had a big impact on me. First of all let me talk about Pinar. While working for a very good company in Istanbul, she suddenly realizes that she is bored with everything and decides to move to America to start a new life and buys her plane ticket. Later on, a couple days before her trip to USA, she meets Serif someone from her friend’s environment and Serif says do not go Pinar.
It
is a very difficult decision to change your life for a person who you
know very little. Finally, Pinar listens to her heart and decides not
to go. They are getting married in a few months. Afterwards there are
moving to Ankara and I am doing the photo shooting for their wedding.
I really love stories like this. Baby news comes shortly after the
photo shooting of the wedding. Can you imagine the change in Pinar’s
life, what’s going on in a few months? Instead of a challenging
adventure in America, she has a happy family now. Serif one of those
who reflect goodness, he is a very cheerful and pleasant man.

Wedding Day

My dear friend Nilgun, who lives in Ankara (now in Istanbul), supported me during the wedding shooting. Nilgun is also a great newborn photographer and videographer. Before this shooting we also worked together in London. We took a taxi from Bilkent Hotel, where I stayed in the morning, and went to the house of Pinar’s grandmother with the couple’s friends from Istanbul. We started the day together here. Afterwards we started to wait with the relatives for Serif and his family. The black and white portrait photos of the grandparents hanging on the wall impressed me and of course the warmth of the whole family. After a while Serif came with his friends and family.

The drum was accompanied by a wind instrument (zurna), the folk dances were filmed, Serif lifted up the bride and she got in the car. From there on we went directly to the hairdresser, where the preparation would be done. Afterwards we went to the wedding venue, Pia Sera. Here, Pinar’s labrador and golden retriever dogs were waiting for us. The moment of meeting them was amazing. They were very excited because they had not seen Pinar for a long time. The wedding ceremony was held in the wonderful garden of Pia Sera while the party was in the glass-framed winter garden. It was a great night everything was wonderful.

First
of all, I would like to thank Pinar and Serif for their hospitality.
I wish them a healthy and happy life with the new member of the
family. Sincerely.
