Cappadocia Prenup Photoshoot

Minmin and Terrence are a couple from Singapore which came to Turkey for a business trip. After the trips from Antalya to Izmir, they called me for a Cappadocia photo shooting and we immediately agreed. We went to the balloon backdrop for the sunrise photo shooting, Goreme town and many other places.

The hairstyles and make-up of Minmin has been done by the professionals at Apex Cave Hotel Nevsehir. In general, foreign couples consult me for this type of service because they do not know anyone and I direct them to local friends who offer their services properly. This time, however, there was a demand that I had never met before. Was there a farm I recommend for horse riding? Indeed, since someone which never has ridden a horse in his life I could not answer this question.

The Land of Beautiful Horses

Cappadocia means “the land of beautiful horses” in Persian. Horse riding is an important culture here as in many regions of Anatolia. However, horse riding in Cappadocia has evolved and turned into a touristic concept. Many horse farms are organizing trips for local and foreign tourists all day long, especially at sunset. The biggest advantage of walking around the region is the opportunity to travel on the terrain, which cannot be reached by car, it takes a lot of time to go by feet.

Even though I was a little scared when Minmin and Terrence offered me to join the horse tour in the afternoon with them, I agreed. However, riding with a double camera has forced me a lot. I have experienced the need to ride with a single camera and zoom lens and attach a short camera strap. The cameras hit the file all the time and I couldn’t protect the cams because my hands were on the horse. There was no problem after all, but I have to admit that it was a risky move. The cameras also became invisible from dust on it. I will be very cautious next time 🙂 But it was an exciting and extraordinary experience for me. I enjoyed it very much, except for the adrenaline occurred when my horse got afraid and got up and galloped.

I wish endless happiness to dear Minmin and Terrence.
