Sarah and Makal are a couple from Philadelphia, USA who decided to renew their vows in the magical land of Cappadocia. They had already been married on paper in the States a week before but they wanted to mark the occasion with a special and intimate ceremony in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

As a photographer, I was honored to be a part of their special day. We started the day early, picking them up from the Crown Plaza Nevsehir at 05:45 am for a sunrise photo shoot. They had chosen package 4, the popular one which included a 7-hour photo session at some of the most stunning locations in Cappadocia.
Capturing the Magic of Sarah and Makal’s Vow Renewal
The first stop of the day was a lonely high cliff where the couple said their vows to each other with the balloons in the air. It was a truly romantic and emotional moment and I was able to capture the love and joy on their faces in a way that words cannot describe.
After the ceremony we explored some of the most famous locations in Cappadocia such as Cavusin and Uchisar towns, taking advantage of the unique natural features of the area to create truly unique and beautiful photos. Sarah who is a huge animal lover, particularly enjoyed the presence of the street dogs that we encountered during the shoot which added an extra layer of emotion to the photos.
Throughout the day Sarah and Makal were a joy to work with. Sarah’s warm personality and love of animals shone through in every photo while Makal’s professional basketball background made for some fun and dynamic photos. Despite his impressive athletic achievements, Makal was incredibly humble and easy to work with, making the shoot a truly enjoyable experience for everyone involved. To commemorate the day, I also created a one-minute video for the couple which you can watch below… The video captures the highlights of the day and provides a glimpse into the magic of Cappadocia, as well as the love and joy that Sarah and Makal share.
In conclusion working with Sarah and Makal on their Cappadocia elopement photography was an unforgettable experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to capture such a special moment in their lives and to have played a small part in creating memories that will last a lifetime.
